Jack N. Hammer - CEO & CTO
Jack Hammer is CEO, CTO and cofounder of Intellidyne®. Mr. Hammer is a serial entrepreneur, inventor and an expert in process and energy management control systems. He holds multiple patents for his various innovations including Intellidyne’s energy-saving technology. He manages Intellidyne’s research and development, technical services and production management groups.
Mr. Hammer began his career in the Medical Electronics and Controls industry. While at Litton Medical Systems from 1972 until 1984, he pioneered a number of emerging technologies that are now commonplace.
Seeing the need for better energy management and environmental conservation, he left Litton In 1984 and founded Radionic Systems. Radionic delivered engineering design and consulting services for the environmental and energy management control systems market. In 1985, Radionic Systems merged with EMA International Inc., which was then acquired by Jamaica Water Properties (JWP) in 1986. As EMA’s VP of Operations and Director of Technical Services, he handled sub-contract negotiations, financial budgeting and planning, product procurement and design of the company's energy management control systems.
In 1988, Mr. Hammer launched his second venture, Radionic Control Systems, a design and contracting company specializing in energy management control systems. As time went on, he noticed that the various players in the heating and cooling industries were overlooking an opportunity. In this case, he found an opportunity to improve the performance of HVAC/R systems without breaking the bank. His expertise in digital, analog and microprocessor control system design, and his first-hand knowledge of heating and cooling systems helped him notice that these systems could reduce energy consumption, optimize their performance and protect the environment without major redesign or retrofit. This discovery led to his energy management breakthrough resulting in the Intellidyne line of products. |
