Brookhaven National Lab
Brookhaven is a multi-disciplinary national laboratory establish almost 60 years ago by the Department of Energy (DOE) and operated by Brookhaven Science Associates. They have received six Nobel Prizes for discoveries made at the lab. Brookhaven National Laboratory's works with and support the scientific and local communities in producing excellent science and advanced technology on behalf of the DOE. The Energy Resources Division specifically addresses a broad range of fuel, renewable energy resources, and energy efficiency projects with a specific group targeting Energy Efficient Buildings. This group’s program areas include residential heating systems, thermal distribution (ducts), burner development, advanced oil burner concepts, high-efficiency oil heat technology, microcogeneration, and analysis of building energy efficiency technologies.

Brooklyn Union / KeySpan Corporation
In May 1998, KeySpan Energy Corporation, the parent company of Brooklyn Union Gas, and certain businesses of the Long Island Lighting Company merged to form KeySpan Corporation. They are the fifth largest distributor of natural gas in the United States and the largest in the Northeast and a member of the Standard & Poor's 500 Index. They operate regulated gas utilities in New York, Massachusetts and New Hampshire serving 2.6 million customers. In addition to these businesses, they offer energy-related products, services and solutions to homes and businesses.

Consolidated Edison Company of New York is a regulated utility that provides electric service across most of New York City and most of Westchester County. They also deliver natural gas and operate the world’s largest steam system servicing most of Manhattan. They are a subsidiary of Consolidated Edison, Incorporated.

ETL Testing Laboratories
ETL SEMKO is a division of Intertek Group plc that specializes in electrical product safety testing, EMC testing, and benchmark performance testing. They are a recognized global testing authority that is recognized throughout the United States as an alternative to Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for electrical products, building materials and systems, and gas- and oil-fired products. OSHA has also designated ETL Testing Laboratories, Inc. as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory under its NRTL Program.
