Glen Cove, NY (January 29, 2007) – Intellidyne LLC announces
the second generation IntelliCon featuring an LCD display that gives
consumers and end-users an immediate readout on the percentage of
fuel that the device is saving. Now standard on the IntelliCon-HW+,
IntelliCon-CHW and IntelliCon-LCH models of hydronic boiler controls,
the display also offers information on operating modes, system diagnostics
and operating temperatures.
Intellidyne’s
patented IntelliCon technology reduces energy consumption
by optimizing system performance through real-time ‘load-demand’ analysis
and control. The IntelliCon controller continuously determines
the optimum burner fi ring pattern while the unit is in operation.
The burner cycle is modified, resulting in a more efficient use
of the heating system, with subsequent reductions of energy consumption,
wear and tear on the equipment, maintenance requirements, and pollution.

Most recently in a NYSERDA
(New York State Energy Research and Development Authority) sponsored
report working in conjunction with Brookhaven National Laboratories,
12 field test sites provided comprehensive proof that Intellidyne
controls significantly and measurably reduce energy consumption
and air pollution after they are installed. A major portion of
this study measured and documented quantifiable pollution reductions
derived from using the IntelliCon.
Intellidyne products are safety listed by the UL in the United States
and Canada as “Energy Management Equipment.”
The controls are easily installed by a qualified technician and
never require programming or seasonal adjustment. They are non-invasively
and easily installed on most new or existing, without major rewiring
and will not void OEM manufacturer warranties.
